Job summary

North Beach Village Resorts in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a Barista Supervisor to manage the cafe, train staff, and ensure smooth service. You will learn to operate the POS, prepare beverages, and assist with food prep.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in food-service supervision, is punctual, a team player, and able to work flexible hours including weekends. Compensation DOE with tips; health insurance after 90 days and staff room-rate perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Learn to manage the cafe in the owner’s absence.
• Sell products and operate the POS system.
• Make coffee beverages following recipes and equipment.
• Oversee food prep and packaging.
• Support employees with questions and direction; assist with money handling and cleanliness.

Compensation

Pay is DOE $13-$15 an hour plus great tips.

Requirements

2 years minimum relevant food industry supervisor experience is required.

Contract

This position is full time. Flexible schedule and weekend availability required.

Position Details

As a supervisor you will learn how to manage the cafe in the absence of the owner. You will learn how to sell product and operate our POS, make coffee beverages using our recipes and equipment, oversee and assist when needed with the preparation and packaging of food, assist employees with questions and direction, money management, store cleanliness and customer service.
