Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Destin, FL is seeking a Team Member to replenish bakery, coffee, and juice products and support regional purchasing and promotions. You will monitor inventory, assist with promotional displays, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while delivering friendly customer service.

You will work with vendors, manage inventory turns, and help maintain store profitability through accurate ordering and compelling merchandising.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of bakery, coffee, and juice products.
• Working knowledge of merchandising expectations.
• Ability to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and ordering systems.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes products through proper buying procedures.
• Monitors and acts upon open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Requests and ensures proper signage.
• Controls spoilage/shrink; achieves turn goals; participates in inventory.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Ensures orders for product are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
• Maintains positive working relationship with vendors.
• Oversees customer special order procedure.
• Analyzes and controls product transfers, waste, and spoilage.
• Supports leadership in conducting inventories.
• Maintains financial profitability by meeting and exceeding purchasing and sales targets.
• Arrives on time and participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
