Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure optimal bakery operation, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance while prioritizing safety and quality.

The role involves rotating assignments across bakery areas and pursuing ongoing training to adapt to evolving tech and performance standards. The position requires mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial equipment, and the ability to work at heights and lift heavy weights.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a technician.
• Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, and general knowledge of support equipment.
• Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment.
• Identify mechanical wear and identify, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components.
• Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry.
• Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
• Possess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment.
