Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Houston bakery. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, promote safety and quality, and rotate assignments across various production areas.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, the ability to climb ladders up to twenty feet, and familiarity with SAP for parts checkout and data entry. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; trade certification is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is a plus.
• Experience in HVAC, welding, electrical, or industrial equipment preferred.
• 1+ years of technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool use, and general maintenance tasks.
• Lubricate components and perform preventive maintenance.
• Identify wear, troubleshoot, and replace drive and conveyor components.
• Use SAP for parts checkout, reporting, and data entry.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow company policies (EEO, Safety, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Obtain/maintain licenses for boilers and refrigeration equipment.
