Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our Lenexa facility. The role focuses on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. You will rotate tasks across bakery equipment, require climbing ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a technician.
• Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, and general knowledge of support equipment.
• Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment.
• Identify mechanical wear, troubleshoot and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components.
• Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry.
• Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Perform other duties deemed integral by management, including schedules and attendance.
• Possess or attain licenses required by municipal/state agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and related equipment.
