Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking team members for its bakery department to provide excellent guest service. You will greet guests, prepare baked goods, price products, and maintain freshness and cleanliness across the bakery, cooler, freezer, and prep areas.

You may assist with cake decorating and front-end duties, including announcing specials and supporting product receiving. Ideal candidates are friendly, able to work with others, physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and comfortable

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Prepare product for sale (baking, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Perform cake decorating clerk duties when requested.
• Maintain sanitation in cooler, freezer, prep, and sales areas.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Front end duties to ensure no noticeable wait.
• Announce specials and sale info on PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
