Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Westfield, NJ is looking for team members to greet guests, take orders, and deliver a warm, accurate service experience. You will assist customers with the menu, confirm orders for pickup or delivery, and help ensure timely, friendly service in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Responsibilities include handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting a smooth operation during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role - preferred
• Customer service focused and a willingness to exceed guest expectations
• Great communication, organizational and math skills
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Legally eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery
