Job summary

Yoke’s Fresh Market in Spokane, WA is seeking a friendly Bakery Associate to provide a welcoming guest experience and support daily bakery operations.

The wage range is $17.15 to $20.75 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include ESOP, DailyPay, 401K, health/dental/vision, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and more. You will perform duties from assisting customers to finishing par-bake products and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid State Food Handlers Permit
• Valid Driver's License or State I.D. Card

Responsibilities

• Reporting for assigned shifts on time and communicating clearly.
• Promoting sales through active discussions with guests and discussing current promotions.
• Providing exceptional service by greeting guests, informing them of specials, product information, and services.
• Mentoring new associates or associates who are new to the department or task.
• Finishing par bake products, labeling ingredients, dating, rotating, opening/closing department, writing orders, posting signage, inspecting items for quality before merchandising.
