Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Deli Bakery Management Assistant for Store 498 in Fuquay Varina, NC. The role supports the Department Manager, oversees up to 80 associates, and helps guide the Fresh Foods department to meet service and sales goals.

You will perform duties across bakery, deli, and related departments, participate in training, and ensure customer satisfaction and safety standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising a team in a retail/food service environment preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 80 associates in Fresh Foods.
• Support Department Manager with direction, coordination, and evaluation.
• Interview and train associates; plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance.
