Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a motivated Team Member to join the Bakery department in Cupertino. You will assist with receiving and preparing products, stocking shelves, maintaining displays, and delivering friendly customer service aligned with WFM standards.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, assisting with sampling, and upholding health and safety regulations while collaborating with team members to drive sales and ensure a positive store image.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to learn product knowledge for the department.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation per SOP.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh and appealing displays by front-facing, stocking, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Stock shelves, bins and display areas and keep them clean.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Maintain back stock in good order and assist with inventory checks.
• Assist with sampling program and keep sample areas full and tidy.
• Provide courteous, friendly service and respond to customer needs promptly.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned and report safety hazards.
• Help with other duties as needed by store leadership.
