Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member for the Bakery area in California. You will assist with receiving, preparing, stocking, displaying, and selling Bakery products while upholding WFM standards and customer service. The role supports on-floor operations, health and safety regulations, and collaboration with Team Members and leadership.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean and well stocked through front-facing, code checking, rotation and removal of out-of-date products.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage; communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program; keeps sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
