You will oversee budgets, labor, inventory, and merchandising while ensuring compliance with food safety protocols and corporate guidelines. The role emphasizes team development and operational excellence.

Your leadership will foster engagement, improve service levels, and support achieving sales and margin targets across the bakery area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of retail store experience, preferably in the department
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities
• Experience reading and analyzing financial reports and budgets

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach bakery staff to deliver excellent customer service
• Manage budgets, labour costs, and inventory in the bakery department
• Ensure food safety, SOPs, and company policies are followed
• Develop staff through training, performance management, and succession planning
• Maintain product presentation, merchandising, and stock in line with standards
• Collaborate with store operations to meet financial targets and customer needs
