• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper equipment and provide samples if requested.
• Ensure fresh products with correct portions to prevent shrink.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Partner with store management to implement a department business plan.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for sales and merchandising supervision.
• Stay current with ads and inform associates accordingly.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Assist in budgeting and financial reporting for the department.
• Schedule price changes and manage inventory processes.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and proper temperatures.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and notify maintenance as needed.
• Report safety risks and incidents.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments and manage conflicts calmly.
• Act with honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
