Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Bakery Department Manager to lead the bakery team and ensure guest service, merchandising programs, and department operations meet company standards. You will assume store manager duties in their absence.

You will supervise, train, and motivate staff, manage inventory, maintain safety standards, and help control labor and budgeting while upholding quality across all products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service in the bakery.
• Achieve bakery budgeted sales, shrink and profits.
• Maintain inventory levels and supplies.
• Operate department per merchandising and operational guidelines.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety per company standards.
• Provide guidance and training to hosts for performance.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Maintain department labor budgeting and scheduling.
• Perform store PA announcements and other duties as assigned.
