Job summary

City Bakery in Fletcher, NC is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport freshly baked goods to cafes and wholesale customers. You will work early mornings, mostly independently, while contributing to a collaborative team. You'll load the van, ensure on-time deliveries, collect invoices, and help with setup at destinations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bakery or other food production environment is welcome, but training can be provided.
• Team-oriented: ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service: provides friendly service and relays feedback to management.

Responsibilities

• Assists packager with organizing deliveries
• Loads van with product according to delivery schedule
• Operates delivery vehicles safely and courteously
• Transports products to cafes and assists with product placement for smooth openings
• Delivers products to wholesale customers per delivery schedule and time frame
• Collects signed invoices and payments from customers
• Returns bakery trays and paperwork at end of shift
• Completes cleaning sidework
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
