Job Responsibilities:

• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
• Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products they ordered, ensuring correct portions to minimize shrink.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
• Prepare foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
• Properly package, label, and inventory ingredients.
• Check product quality and review 'sell by' dates.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
• Understand store layout to assist customers efficiently.
• Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of department products and respond to customer inquiries.
• Monitor inventory conditions and address discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage temperatures and maintain logs.
• Promote trust and respect among team members.
