Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
  • Offering product samples to customers.
  • Informing customers of bakery and deli specials.
  • Providing fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
  • Recommending products to customers.
  • Using bakery equipment according to guidelines.
  • Following food safety and temperature protocols.
  • Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients.
  • Packaging, labeling, and inventorying ingredients.
  • Checking product quality and freshness.
  • Maintaining store layout and product knowledge.
  • Adhering to safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
