Bakery/Deli Clerk (Finance)

Essential Job Functions:

1. Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
3. Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
4. Provide customers with ordered products, ensuring correct portions to minimize shrink.
5. Recommend products to customers to meet their needs.
6. Operate bakery equipment following company guidelines.
7. Follow food safety and temperature logs during food preparation.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise.
10. Check product quality and expiration dates, taking appropriate actions.
11. Use kitchen equipment properly, including refrigerators, slicers, ovens, etc.
12. Maintain inventory and stock levels, report discrepancies.
13. Understand store layout and assist customers in locating products.
14. Stay current with advertisements and product knowledge.
15. Maintain proper storage temperatures and logs.
16. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
17. Adhere to safety and food regulations, report unsafe conditions.
18. Inspect and maintain equipment, report repairs needed.
19. Handle customer and employee incidents appropriately.
20. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally.
21. Act with honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
22. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
23. Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
24. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
