• Informing customers of bakery and deli specials.
• Providing customers with fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrink.
• Recommending deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Using bakery equipment according to guidelines.
• Preparing foods following safety and cooking standards.
• Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients as per recipes.
• Packaging, labeling, and inventorying ingredients and products.
• Checking product quality and freshness, reviewing sell-by dates.
• Properly using kitchen equipment like refrigerators, slicers, ovens, etc.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventorying department merchandise.
• Reporting discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
• Understanding store layout to assist customers efficiently.
• Staying updated on current and upcoming promotions and ads.
• Maintaining knowledge of department products and answering customer questions.
• Monitoring inventory conditions and noting discrepancies.
