Bakery/Deli Clerk (Finance)

Minimum Requirements:

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
  • Offering product samples and informing customers of specials.
  • Providing fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
  • Recommending items to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Using bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) according to guidelines.
  • Following food safety and temperature logs.
  • Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients according to recipes.
  • Packaging, labeling, and inventorying ingredients.
  • Checking product quality and freshness.
  • Maintaining store layout knowledge and product location skills.
  • Staying current with promotions and product knowledge.
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy and proper temperature maintenance.
  • Creating a welcoming environment for customers and adhering to safety regulations.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and reporting issues.
  • Reporting safety risks, accidents, and illegal activities.
  • Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
