Bakery/Deli Clerk (Finance)

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Minimum qualifications:

Additional duties include:

• Prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products ordered and ensure correct portion sizes.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to customers.
• Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines.
• Follow food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers.
• Maintain inventory and stock merchandise.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and report unsafe conditions or accidents.

Salary Range: $15.25 - $17.85.
