Minimum Position Qualifications:

Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products in correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines.
• Follow food safety regulations, maintain temperature logs, and ensure freshness.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating products and responding to inquiries.
• Maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions or make suggestions.
• Monitor inventory and stock conditions, report discrepancies.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained.
• Promote a respectful and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
• Adhere to safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and participate in preventive maintenance.
• Handle customer or employee accidents appropriately.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally, and act with integrity.
• Support and assist vulnerable populations, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
