Job summary

Woods Supermarkets Inc. is seeking a Bakery Deli Assistant Manager who can support the Bakery Deli Manager in leading our bakery and deli teammates, delivering friendly service and quality products.

This role supervises day-to-day operations, assists with staffing, schedules, merchandising, safety, and training to ensure department goals are met and guests have a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older and able to read/write instructions.
• Strong interpersonal communication and team collaboration.
• Food Safety Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising day-to-day Bakery Deli activities.
• Help develop staffing schedules and action plans.
• Train and mentor department teammates on operations and safety.
• Ensure merchandising, display, and product rotation meet standards.
• Support budgeting, guest service, and department goals.
