Job summary

Sam's Club in Shreveport, LA is hiring a Cake Decorator to support member service and bakery operations. You will work with teammates to ensure high-quality decorations, accurate recipes, and attractive presentation for a variety of bakery items.

Expect hands-on decoration work, use of decorating tools, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet member needs. You will leverage handheld tech to assist with sales and product quality while maintaining safety standards and inventory

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to complete required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate associates on tools, tasks and resources.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain in-stock levels.
• Decorate bakery items using decorating bags, tips and nozzles with quality and safety in mind.
• Utilize handheld devices to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
• Assist with seasonal events, resolve member issues and protect date control standards.
• Maintain sanitation, food safety standards and inventory management.
• Contribute to a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.
