Job summary

Sam's Club in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Cake Decorator to deliver outstanding member service and bakehouse quality. You will collaborate with teammates to meet expectations and ensure fresh, appealing bakery items for daily and seasonal needs.

You will decorate with bags and tips, follow recipes, maintain food safety and inventory, use handheld devices to drive sales, and represent the brand with integrity while guiding newer associates toward excellent service.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Acknowledgement of required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross functional teams and educates other associates on tools and tasks to provide customer service.
• Plans bakery productions, ensures quality and accuracy of designs, and uses decorating bags and tips for flowers and lettering.
• Leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience with handheld devices.
• Drives the performance of the bakery area, manages waste, ensures date control, and supports seasonal events.
• Acts as a brand ambassador, upholds Walmart values, and mentors others for respectful, team-oriented work.
• Complies with policies and ethics, completes tasks, and communicates progress and opportunities for improvement.
• Respects individuals, fosters belonging, and strengthens the team through training and collaboration.
• Maintains integrity and aligns with Walmart's standards while supporting associates and customers.
