Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly bakery team member to provide excellent guest service through bakery department activities. You will greet guests, weigh, bake, price, and stock products to maintain quality and freshness.

Responsibilities include cake decorating when needed, sanitation in all areas, and helping manage product receiving and store communication to ensure smooth operations and minimal guest wait times.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Read and understand information and direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (baking, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Perform clerk function of cake decorating when requested.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform front end duties to insure no noticeable wait.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
