Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a bakery team member to provide excellent guest service in the bakery department. You will greet guests, prepare products for sale, and ensure freshness and quality of items.

You may assist with cake decorating and front-end duties to keep wait times minimal. Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, communicating guest needs to management, and supporting receiving and storage as needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (baking, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Perform clerk function of cake decorating when requested.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Operate front end duties to maintain the 'no noticeable wait' standard.
