Job summary

Niemann Harvest Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk/Wrapper to provide excellent customer service, learn product knowledge, rotate inventory, and support merchandising in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will operate bakery equipment, assist with basic baking duties, package and label products to standards, and follow health codes, store policies, and safety practices as part of a collaborative team. Training provided; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Food handler certification may be required by state law (store level).
• Willingness to learn bakery operations and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Delivers superior guest service and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Learns and uses the three E’s: Engagement, Educate, Empowerment.
• Operates bakery equipment safely and correctly.
• Knows use and tastes of bakery products.
• Performs quality assurance checks of the department.
• Rotates and merchandises products; proper labeling.
• Maintains stock levels, inventory, and cleanliness.
• Promotes sales and offers samples.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and workspace.
• Follows health codes and store policies; safety role model.
