Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly bakery team member to provide guest service in the bakery department, including greetings, assisting customers, and preparing products for sale such as baking, weighing, and pricing. You will help maintain product quality and freshness and assist with cake decorating when needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation in cooler, freezer, prep and sales areas; communicating guest requests and temperature issues to management; keeping the supply area

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information/direction.
• Effective communication and selling skills; strong guest service.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keeps supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs front end duties to insure “no noticeable wait” standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
