Hy-Vee's Bakery Clerk role is focused on delivering exceptional customer service at the bakery counter and helping to keep products fresh and well-displayed. You will assist customers, prepare and replenish goods, and support store operations within a busy bakery environment.

No prior experience required; Hy-Vee provides training and promotes a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere to ensure a welcoming experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; Hy-Vee will train you.
• Basic math skills for counting and transactions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong customer service mindset and teamwork.
• Able to work in a busy bakery environment.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers warmly and assist at the bakery counter.
• Prepare, replenish, and display bakery products.
• Monitor product freshness and inventory during shifts.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures at all times.
• Operate the department register where applicable.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Help with other store areas and special projects as needed.
