Hy-Vee is seeking a Bakery Clerk to keep the bakery counter welcoming and well-stocked. You’ll greet customers, assist with product selection, and help prepare and replenish baked goods with pride and attention to quality.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and strong customer service. No prior experience is required as we provide training, and we offer a supportive environment in a fast-paced store bakery.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide outstanding service at the bakery counter.
• Assist customers with finding products and placing orders.
• Review daily orders and monitor freshness and supply levels.
• Prepare and replenish baked goods and maintain sanitation.
• Operate the department register and process payments where applicable.
• Keep work area clean and tidy; handle trash promptly.
• Work with teammates for a smooth customer experience.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and policies.
• Assist in other store areas and special projects as needed.
