Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Dallas, TX is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support the bakery with customer service, shelves, and special orders. You will assist customers, coordinate with bakers on items to bake or decorate, and ensure clean, welcoming displays in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and staff.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to Bakery customers and assist with purchases.
• Clean, fill, and rotate displays; maintain cleanliness of front store and bakery area.
• Assist with special orders and coordinate with the Baker on items to bake or decorate.
• Support department cleaning and sanitation tasks as required.
• Operate in a fast-paced grocery environment with lifting, standing, and walking as essential duties.
