Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings to customers and staff.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to bakery customers.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean shelves and display cases; rotate self-serve displays.
• Collaborate with the Baker on items to bake or decorate.
• Support department cleaning and floor maintenance in the bakery area.
