Hy-Vee’s Eldridge bakery is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to join our team. You’ll greet customers, help them at the bakery counter, and assist with selecting products. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required for this role.

You will prepare, finish, and replenish baked goods, monitor freshness, and maintain a clean, organized work area. You’ll also operate the register and follow safety, sanitation, and dress code standards daily.

Qualifications

• Less than a high school diploma or equivalent accepted.
• Up to six months of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Must follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist at the bakery counter to find products.
• Prepare, finish and replenish baked goods and check freshness.
• Operate the department register and process payments where applicable.
