Hy-Vee's Knoxville, IA store is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to help keep the bakery running smoothly. You’ll greet customers, assist at the counter, prep and replenish baked goods, and ensure freshness while maintaining a clean, welcoming department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and making them feel welcome in the bakery
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and taking orders at the bakery counter
• Review daily orders and monitor product freshness, appearance, and supply levels throughout your shift
• Prepare, finish, and replenish baked goods as needed, pulling product from the cooler or freezer to prepare for baking
• Follow and maintain proper sanitation procedures, keeping your work area clean and organized at all times
• Operate the department register to process payments where applicable
• Maintain compliance with Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policies
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed
