Job summary

ShopRite of Stratford in Garafalo CT is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist the Bakery Manager with daily operations, pricing, stocking and rotating merchandise, and keeping the department neat, clean, and visually appealing.

You will deliver great customer service, ensure accurate signage, handle goods safely, and work with others to meet store goals. Candidates must be at least 18, able to lift up to 50 lbs, work varied temperatures, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak English proficiently and understand basic math.
• Able to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and handle food products with QA standards.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe bakery area.
• Assist Bakery Manager with pricing, stocking, and rotating merchandise.
• Ensure accurate signage and proper product rotation.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
