ShopRite of Howell, NJ is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support daily Bakery operations and deliver great customer service. The role includes pricing, stocking, rotating merchandise, and maintaining a clean, appealing department to meet company standards.

The position requires basic math, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll work with the Bakery Manager and team to ensure safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak English and understand basic math.
• Stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and with food products.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager with daily operations (pricing, stocking, rotating merchandise).
• Maintain a neat, clean and visually appealing Bakery department.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Follow safety, QA standards and local regulations in all tasks.
• Operate equipment per company policy and training; wear PPE as required.
