Job summary

ShopRite of Howell in Howell, NJ is seeking a Baker/Saker for the Bakery Department. You will assist the Bakery Manager with baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging and filling of designated pastry and bread items, keeping the department clean and visually appealing.

You must maintain adherence to safety and QA standards and company policy. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in varied temperatures, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Properly rotate merchandise to ensure freshness and QA standards.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
