Job summary

Fiesta Mart Austin-I 35 North is hiring a Bakery Clerk under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager. The Bakery Clerk provides friendly, courteous service to customers, assists with bakery purchases, cleans shelving and display cases, and supports the Baker with decorating and baking when needed.

This fast-paced grocery environment requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, read and write Spanish and English, and hold a Food Handler Card.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required for customer interaction.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and labels.
• Willingness to lift and move items as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service in the bakery department.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and questions.
• Clean shelving, display cases and self-serve areas in the bakery.
• Collaborate with the Baker to determine items to bake or decorate.
