Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Team Member for the bakery department. The role involves proofing, baking, stocking and displaying bakery items, following product handling information and safety standards. You will support daily operations to ensure fresh, accurately priced products reach members.

Ideal candidates have bakery or customer service experience, knowledge of bakery products, and are at least 18 years old. All work is performed on site in a bustling club environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information using ovens and/or other equipment.
• Uses bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs.
• Gathers products to be prepared for the next business day.
• Packages freshly baked goods and labels items with price tickets as needed.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and product handling policies.
