Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a bakery team member to support daily bakery operations and deliver service excellence to members. You’ll proof and bake items, assist with display and stocking, and ensure safety and freshness across bakery products.

Ideal candidates have bakery or customer service experience, knowledge of bakery products, and are at least 18 years old. This role requires standing for long periods and handling bakery equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following production charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods, including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery, including ovens, cooking utensils, refrigerated cases, display racks, and tables.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
