Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Bakery Team Member to support daily bakery operations, assist members, and help ensure safe, fresh products on the floor. The role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to quality standards, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, proofreading displays, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness and safety within the bakery department.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bakery or customer service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products is preferred.
• Applicant must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and assists members with bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following product handling information.
• Packages baked goods and prepares for display and next day production.
• Rotates and stores bakery products per food safety and shelf-life policies.
• Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and surfaces to maintain safety standards.
• Maintains accurate pricing and signage for bakery products.
