Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a bakery team member to handle proofs and baking, packaging, and display of bakery goods while upholding safety and quality standards. You’ll greet members, answer questions, and take special orders with accuracy and care.

Role requires experience in a bakery or customer service, knowledge of bakery products, and being at least 18 years old. This is an on-site, part-time position with weekly pay and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of bakery products.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Answers member calls and takes special orders.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods per production charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods (cookies, pastries, breads, cakes, etc.).
• Unpacks and displays bakery goods per production guidance.
• Decorates special orders or case products.
• Rotates and stores bakery products with proper safety standards.
• Receives, inspects and stores bakery shipments.
