Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a bakery associate to proof and bake items, unpack and display goods, and package daily bakery products. You will follow production charts, ensure freshness, and uphold safety standards.

The role involves receiving shipments, labeling, rotating stock, and delivering friendly service to members. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity at BJ’s Rhode Island location, with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bakery or customer service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products is preferred.
• Ability to follow food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Proof and bake unfinished bakery goods per product handling information and production charts.
• Unpack goods from freezer and display based on production guidance.
• Package freshly baked items and ensure accurate labeling and pricing.
• Rotate and store bakery products following safety and freshness policies.
• Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments; maintain a clean work area.
