Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Associate to support proofs, bakes, and displays bakery goods. You will follow production charts, prepare items for the next day, and help ensure product quality and accurate pricing.

The role emphasizes safety, precision, and a positive member experience. Ideal candidates have bakery or customer service familiarity, are at least 18, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or customer service preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of bakery products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods using ovens and equipment.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays based on production charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods (cookies, pastries, breads) for sale.
• Decorates special orders or case products as needed.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety policies.
• Receives, inspects and stores bakery shipments.
• Generates labels and price tickets and performs price checks when needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and display fixtures in the bakery.
• Ensures all items are accurately priced and meet quality standards.
