Job summary

Lowes Foods in Pittsboro, NC is seeking a friendly bakery team member to provide guest service, prepare products for sale, and maintain freshness. You will assist with front-end duties to minimize wait times and support cake decorating when requested, while upholding sanitation and safety standards.

You will also help with receiving and storage, communicating guest needs to management, and ensuring an orderly bakery and sales area. This role requires a personable, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (baking, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• When requested perform clerk function of cake decorating.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform front end duties to insure “no noticeable wait” standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
