Lowes Foods in Pittsboro, IN is seeking a friendly bakery associate to greet guests and provide exceptional service. You will prepare bakery items, weigh and price products, and maintain freshness across display cases.

Responsibilities include assisting with cake decorating on request, maintaining sanitation, and handling front-end duties to minimize wait times. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be able to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Prepare product for sale (baking, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Perform cake decorating clerk function when requested.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all areas including cooler, freezer, prep and sales.
• Communicate guest requests to management and temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat and tidy at all times.
• Perform front end duties to ensure no noticeable wait.
• Announce specials and sale info on PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
