Job summary

Lowes Foods in Raleigh, NC is seeking a friendly bakery team member to greet guests, prepare products, and help maintain fresh baked goods.

You will perform bakery clerk duties, rotate stock, assist with pricing and labeling, and ensure cleanliness and safety in the bakery area while delivering great guest service.

This role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekend shifts while helping the bakery team meet guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, packaging and labeling).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Perform bakery clerk functions when requested.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Rotate icings and sanitize equipment as needed.
• Write on cakes and use cake production sheets.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
