Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd. in Hawai`i seeks Bakery Clerks for on-island staffing with evening and weekend availability preferred. This hourly role starts at $16.88 per hour plus a $2.00 premium, with full-time (40 hours) scheduling and a comprehensive benefits package.

Bakery Clerks will prepare, bake, price and merchandise baked goods, inform customers about bakery products, and offer samples to boost sales. Must be 18+, lift up to 50 pounds, TB clearance, and comply with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, baking, packaging, pricing and merchandising cakes, pies, rolls, muffins, breads and other baked goods.
• Inform customers about bakery products and services.
• Often offer samples to increase sales.
• Work with ovens, proofers and use store intercoms for promotions and specials.
