Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high-quality customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented, maintaining cleanliness of the bakery area.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery environment, including cleaning shelves and equipment, and keeping floors free of spills and debris.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure accurate pricing; monitor product rotation and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, and positive attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other equipment safely.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift items up to 40 lbs.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards, and maintain a Food Handlers permit.
